Meet the Calling Bird Cabernet Sour — a festive twist on a classic whiskey sour, elevated with a float of rich Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon. This cocktail is the perfect blend of cozy bourbon warmth, bright citrus, and deep red wine richness, making it ideal for holiday nights by the tree or hosting friends during the busy Christmas season.

🍋 The Calling Bird Cabernet Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon

  • 0.75 oz simple syrup

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1 oz Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon

Directions

  1. Add bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice.

  2. Shake well until chilled.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

  4. Slowly float the Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon over the top using the back of a spoon.

Garnish: Lemon peel or cherry
